NZ Kitchen Garden

Home grown goodness for the kitchen and pantry

Here are the books that motivate me to get into the vege garden day-after-day; fight the nasties that can blight my crop; and inspire me to turn my veges into something a little bit special at meal times.

My go-to favourites are without a doubt NZ Gardener for reference and magazines; Donna Hay and Annabel Langbein for recipes; Dr Libby for turning naughty sweets into nice treats; and my salad and vege books for healthy and delicious lunches and sides.

When it comes to gardening and books, the great thing is seasonality. This means that you can pick up out of date reading and it still has relevance.
